THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED MOUNTAIN CONVECTION IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS...THEN DECREASING BY SUNSET. THE
THREATS FROM THESE STORM INCLUDE OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH. BRIEF MODERATE RAINFALL AND
SMALL HAIL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE IN THE STRONGEST STORMS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FOR THE WEST SALT CREEK
LANDSLIDE AND SALT CREEK ROAD IN MESA COUNTY THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON DUE TO WATER LEVELS IN A SAG POND AT THE TOP OF THE
WEST CREEK LAND SLIDE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
REMAIN IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THE REMAINING HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND
BEYOND AS MOISTURE WILL GET WORKED ON BY DAYTIME HEATING. THESE
STORMS AND SHOWERS WILL BE FOCUSED OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS BUT
A STRAY STORM OR TWO WILL SURVIVE INTO THE LOWER VALLEYS. GUSTY
WINDS AND LIGHTNING REMAIN THE MAIN THREATS.
