...VERY WARM TO HOT TEMPERATURES THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...

.A STRONG RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD OVER THE
REGION. THIS WILL RESULT IN VERY WARM TO HOT WEATHER WITH RECORD
HIGH TEMPERATURES AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON. IN ADDITION...OFFSHORE
FLOW WILL ALLOW VERY WARM AIR TO REACH ALL THE WAY TO THE COAST.
MANY AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO EXPERIENCE THEIR WARMEST TEMPERATURES
OF THE YEAR TODAY.

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* TEMPERATURE...HIGHS WILL MOSTLY BE IN THE MID 80S TO MID 90S
  NEAR THE COAST WITH MID 90S TO 105 FOR INLAND AREAS.

* LOCATION...THE ENTIRE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND ENTIRE
  MONTEREY BAY AREA.

* TIMING...HOTTEST TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE AGAIN THROUGH EARLY
  EVENING. MODEST COOLING WILL OCCUR ON TUESDAY...MAINLY NEAR THE
  COAST. MUCH MORE SIGNIFICANT AND WIDESPREAD COOLING IS FORECAST
  TO OCCUR OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS...THE HEAT WILL RESULT IN ELEVATED HEALTH RISKS FOR
  THOSE WHO ARE SENSITIVE TO HEAT.

A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS
EXPECTED. HOT TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT
ILLNESSES ARE POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-
CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE SUN...AND CHECK UP ON
RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS. NEVER LEAVE KIDS OR PETS IN VEHICLES AS
TEMPERATURES CAN QUICKLY REACH VERY DANGEROUS LEVELS.
