  *RAIN AND SNOW EXPECTED FOR LATE FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
   CAUSING DIFFICULTIES FOR HOLIDAY TRAVEL.

  *FALLEN LEAVES MAY LEAD TO CLOGGED DRAINS AND LOCALIZED FLOODING.

.TIMING AND STRENGTH...
  *DRY WEATHER...MILD TEMPERATURES...AND PATCHY VALLEY FOG THROUGH THANKSGIVING.

  *WET WEATHER LIKELY LATE FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. HEAVIEST
   RAIN AND SNOW ON SUNDAY.

  *LOWERING SNOW LEVELS (~5000-6000 FEET) FOR THE WEEKEND WITH
   POSSIBILITY OF MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN THE SIERRA AND
   SOUTHERN CASCADE RANGES.

  *BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS SUNDAY.

.CONFIDENCE...
  *HIGH CONFIDENCE FOR RAIN CHANCES LATE FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND.

  *MEDIUM CONFIDENCE IN LOWERING SNOW LEVELS AND MODERATE SNOW
   ACCUMULATIONS.

.WEATHER SUMMARY...
  *HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL THROUGH THANKSGIVING NIGHT
   WITH DRY WEATHER AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES CONTINUING. A
   LARGE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FRIDAY AND AFFECT THE
   AREA THROUGH THE WEEKEND. WIDESPREAD RAIN LOOKS LIKE A GOOD
   POSSIBILITY...BEGINNING LATE FRIDAY AND CONTINUING THROUGH THE
   WEEKEND. SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY WITH
   MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE NEAR OR JUST BELOW PASS
   LEVELS. THIS WILL LIKELY IMPACT A BUSY TRAVEL WEEKEND. DETAILS
   ON EXACT TIMING AND AMOUNTS STILL UNCERTAIN THIS FAR OUT SO
   STAY TUNED AS THE WEEK PROGRESSES.
