...STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND ELEVATED TO HIGH SURF THROUGH THIS
WEEKEND...

A 4 TO 5 FOOT SOUTH SWELL WITH A 12 SECOND PERIOD WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY. THIS SWELL WILL GENERATE ELEVATED SURF ALONG THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY BEACHES...AND HIGH SURF ALONG THE ORANGE COUNTY
BEACHES THROUGH THE WEEKEND. ISOLATED SETS OF 7 TO 8 FEET ARE POSSIBLE
ALONG SOUTHERLY FACING BEACHES. STRONG AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS
ARE LIKELY THROUGH THE PERIOD. SURF MAY REMAIN ELEVATED INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK.

  DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY FOR INEXPERIENCED
  SWIMMERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN
THE ADVISORY AREA...PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH
EROSION.
