   INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK CAUSING DIFFICULTIES FOR HOLIDAY TRAVEL.

  *FALLEN LEAVES MAY LEAD TO CLOGGED DRAINS AND LOCALIZED FLOODING.

  *BURN SCAR AREAS MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO DEBRIS FLOWS.

.TIMING AND STRENGTH...
  *DRY WEATHER...MILD TEMPERATURES...AND PATCHY VALLEY FOG THROUGH THANKSGIVING.

  *WET WEATHER LIKELY LATE FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. HEAVIEST
   RAIN AND SNOW LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.

  *SNOW LEVELS (~6000-7000 FEET) FOR THE WEEKEND LOWERING BY MONDAY.

  *POSSIBILITY FOR MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN THE SIERRA
   AND SOUTHERN CASCADE RANGES.

  *BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS SUNDAY.

.CONFIDENCE...
  *HIGH CONFIDENCE FOR WET WEATHER INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

  *MEDIUM CONFIDENCE IN LOWERING SNOW LEVELS AND MODERATE SNOW
   ACCUMULATIONS.

.WEATHER SUMMARY...
  *HIGH PRESSURE WILL MAINTAIN DRY AND MILD WEATHER THROUGH
   THANKSGIVING. THE FIRST OF A SERIES OF STORMS WILL BRING WET
   WEATHER STARTING LATE FRIDAY. WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION IS
   EXPECTED THROUGH THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. SNOW OVER
   THE PASSES WILL LIKELY IMPACT A BUSY TRAVEL WEEKEND.
