ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE BEGINNING TO
DEVELOP AND ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE THROUGHOUT THE
LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO FORM ACROSS PARTS OF PIMA...SANTA CRUZ...AND COCHISE
COUNTIES. STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INITIALLY FORM OVER HIGHER
TERRAIN AND DRIFT OFF OVER THE VALLEYS. STORM MOTIONS WILL BE
GENERALLY TO THE NORTHEAST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH. THE MAIN CONCERNS
WITH THESE STORMS ARE HEAVY RAINFALL WITH INITIAL AMOUNTS OF ONE
QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH AND GUSTY WINDS TO 45 MPH IN THE STRONGER
STORMS.
