...VERY HOT TEMPERATURES EXPECTED WEDNESDAY FOR THE LOWER DESERTS...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN CHARGE OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST...
AND ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE WILL GRADUALLY DECLINE...LEADING TO HOTTER
TEMPERATURES AND DECREASED HUMIDITY LEVELS AT MANY LOWER DESERT
LOCATIONS ACROSS SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA...SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA.

UNDER THESE CONDITIONS...VERY HOT TEMPERATURES...CLOSE TO EXCESSIVE
HEAT THRESHOLDS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY...WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING
FROM 111-115 DEGREES FOR MANY LOW DESERT LOCATIONS. WARM OVERNIGHT
LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 80S AND LOW 90S ARE ALSO ANTICIPATED
FOR THE WARMEST URBAN SITES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNING.

TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO BE COOLER THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH THE
RETURN OF MOISTURE AND CLOUD COVER TO THE REGION.

REMEMBER...VERY HOT TEMPERATURES AND EXCESSIVE HEAT CAN BE STRESSFUL
TO ANIMALS AND HUMANS...MAKING IT HARD FOR THE BODY TO ACCLIMATE
AND REMAIN HYDRATED. IF YOU PLAN TO BE OUTSIDE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF TIME IN THE AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING...STAY IN THE SHADE AS MUCH
AS POSSIBLE AND DRINK ABUNDANT AMOUNTS OF WATER.

STAY UP-TO-DATE ON THE LATEST FORECASTS BY LISTENING TO WEATHER RADIO
ON THE PUBLIC SERVICE BAND. MORE DETAILED INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE
