HIGHER MOISTURE VALUES AND A MORE UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL BRING AN
ACTIVE DAY TO THE REGION TODAY. THE THREAT FOR LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND HAIL WILL BE ENHANCED...WHEN COMPARED TO SATURDAY.

PRIMARY THREATS TODAY WILL BE HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY THUNDERSTORM
WINDS TO 50 MPH... LIGHTNING AND ISOLATED DAMAGING HAIL. STORM
MOTION WILL BE TO THE EAST AND NORTHEAST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

DRIER SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL DEVELOP NEXT WEEK...WITH STORM COVERAGE

OVER THE AREA NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 BETWEEN TWO GUNS AND LEUPP.
HOWEVER...EXPECT ELEVATED FLOW THROUGH DRAINAGES IN THE AREA TO
CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT TWO HOURS OR SO.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
