THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE OF SEVERE
STORMS TO CENTRAL ALABAMA TODAY...BETWEEN 10 AM AND 6 PM. AT THIS
TIME...THE GREATEST THREAT POTENTIAL WILL BE FOR AREAS SOUTH OF A
GEIGER...TO ALABASTER...TO ANNISTON LINE. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE
DAMAGING WINDS...ISOLATED TORNADOES...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
NORTH OF THIS GREATEST THREAT AREA...STRONG WINDS WILL STILL BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
NEEDED TODAY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
