CURRENT CONDITIONS AS OF 11/18/14:
SEE THE COMMENTS ABOVE FOR DETAILS.

OUTLOOK FOR NEXT 7 DAYS:
BRUTALLY COLD AIR MOVED INTO THE COUNTRY LAST WEEK...WITH
TEMPERATURES GENERALLY 10 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. IN OUR
REGION...LOW TEMPERATURE THIS MORNING RANGED FROM 4 DEGREES
AT BEMIDJI MN TO 8 DEGREES IN MINNEAPOLIS MN TO 15 DEGREES IN
ST LOUIS MISSOURI. THE COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY...
THEN A WARMING TREND IS FORECAST FOR THE WEEKEND. HIGH
TEMPERATURES THIS WEEKEND SHOULD BE IN THE MID 30S IN THE TWIN
CITIES AND IN THE 50S IN ST LOUIS.

BASED ON THESE FACTORS...WE ANTICIPATE THAT ICE WILL CONTINUE
TO FORM IN MANY OF THE POOLS AND SHORELINE AREAS
GENERALLY NORTH OF LD19 OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AND OF
COURSE...THE FURTHER NORTH YOU GO THERE SHOULD BE INCREASING
AMOUNTS OF DEVELOPMENT OBSERVED. ICE GROWTH IS EXPECTED TO
SLOW DOWN THIS WEEKEND AND WE COULD EVEN MELT SOME ICE THIS
WEEKEND SOUTH OF MINNEAPOLIS...ESPECIALLY IF IT IS WINDY.

THIS YEAR MAY GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE EARLIEST ICE COVERS IN RECENT
HISTORY.

THE NEXT ICE STATEMENT WILL BE RELEASED ON TUESDAY..NOV 25 2014.

...BSITES...
