.OVERVIEW...

A BROKEN LINE OF STORMS MOVED ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA
AHEAD OF A DRYLINE FEATURE DURING THE AFTERNOON ON SUNDAY,
NOVEMBER 23RD AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. KNOWN DAMAGE
CONSISTED OF AT LEAST DOWNED TREES AND DAMAGE TO A METAL OUTBUILDING.

SURVEY SUMMARY:

A SURVEY TEAM IS EN ROUTE TO BARBOUR AND RUSSELL COUNTIES TO
INVESTIGATE DAMAGE REPORTS FROM BOTH COUNTIES TO DETERMINE IF
EITHER OR BOTH REPORTS ARE DO TO TORNADO DAMAGE.

AT THIS TIME...STORM SURVEYS ARE BEING PLANNED FOR THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES TODAY:

TEAM ONE: PRIMARY TARGETS...BARBOUR AND RUSSELL COUNTIES.

ADDITIONAL PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED
PERIODICALLY THROUGH THE DAY...AS SURVEYS TEAMS REPORT BACK THEIR
FINDINGS.

A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR SEVERE WEATHER WARNING
PROGRAM IS THE RECEIPT OF STORM REPORTS FROM ALL OUR CUSTOMERS AND
PARTNERS. IF YOU WITNESSED OR ARE AWARE OF ANY STORM DAMAGE DUE TO
HIGH WINDS OR TORNADOES...PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY
