A FEW SHORT LIVED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE TO THE
SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 20 MPH OVER PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEW MEXICO
THIS MORNING. SPOTTY LIGHTNING AND BRIEF RAINFALL WILL BE
PRODUCED BY THE ACTIVITY. BEFORE 11 AM...MOST OF THE ACTIVITY
WILL EXTEND FROM CHACO CANYON TO CUBA AND TOWARDS THE JEMEZ
MOUNTAINS. MORE ISOLATED ACTIVITY WILL BE NEAR ALAMO...LUNA...
RESERVE...MOGOLLON AND GLENWOOD. SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
BECOME MORE VIGOROUS AND NUMEROUS BY MIDDAY OR EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF WESTERN
NEW MEXICO THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN. VISIBILITIES MAY DIP BELOW 2 MILES AT
TIMES. SOME AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE INTERSTATE 40 IN THE CLINES
CORNERS AREA...INTERSTATE 25 IN THE LAS VEGAS VICINITY...AS WELL AS
THE FORT STANTON AREA. THE FOG SHOULD LIFT BY MIDDAY. MOTORISTS
SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATIONS THIS MORNING.
