.WEATHER FOR THE NORTH PACIFIC N OF 30N AND E OF 150W.

PER 18Z OPC SFC ANALYSIS A COLD FRONT WAS OVER THE FAR SE PZ5
WATERS W/ANOTHER COLD FRONT JUST NW OF THE WATERS. THE FIRST
MENTIONED COLD FRONT ALSO EXTENDED INTO THE NRN PZ6 WATERS W/A
HIGH PRES RIDGE OVER THE REST OF THE WAERS.

NO MAJOR CHANGES TO BE MADE TO THE ONGOING FORECAST. GENERALLY
FAVORED 12Z GFS THROUGH LATE SUN W/A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH THE
PZ5 WATERS OVERNIGHT INTO FRI AND INTO THE PZ6 WATERS BY SAT. ONE
EXCEPTION WAS TO USE 12Z ECMWF WINDS FRI NIGHT TO CONTINUE W/THE
BRIEF PERIOD OF GALES OVER THE NRN PZ5 WATERS AS A LOW SLIDES S OF
VANCOUVER ISLAND AS AGREED UPON BY MOST GUIDANCE. LOW PRES THEN
DEVELOPS W OF THE WATERS ON SUN. FOR DAYS 4 AND 5 THE 12Z GFS WAS
THE OUTLIER IN TERMS OF MOVING THE LOW FARTHER E AND INTO THE PZ6
WATERS BY DAY 5...WHEREAS ALL THE OTHER GUIDANCE KEPT THE LOW TO
THE W. SO FAVORED 12Z ECMWF ON DAYS 4 AND 5 KEEPING IN LINE
W/WHATS BEEN DONE SO FAR.
