DISCUSSION FOR...VANDENBERG ECC DISPATCH

...DISCUSSION FROM LOS ANGELES/OXNARD...

SIGNIFICANT COOLING WITH HIGHER HUMIDITIES IS EXPECTED TODAY INTO
FRIDAY AS STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW AND MARINE LAYER CLOUDS RETURN TO
THE REGION. AN INCREASE IN AFTERNOON SEA BREEZES IS EXPECTED,
ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND THE ANTELOPE VALLEY. A GRADUAL WARMING
TREND THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS
AND ONSHORE FLOW WEAKENS. THIS WILL BRING SOME DRYING TO THE
FOOTHILLS AND MOUNTAINS AS THE MARINE LAYER DEPTH SHRINKS BELOW
1500 FT. THE LATEST COMPUTER MODELS CONTINUE TO TREND COOLER THE
MIDDLE AND END OF NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM MONTEREY...

A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INLAND TODAY BRINGING LIGHT RAIN TO
PRIMARILY THE NORTH BAY AND SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS. HIGHER HUMIDITY
TODAY WILL BE REPLACED BY A DRYING AND WARMING TREND FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY AS THE MARINE LAYER REFORMS AND BECOMES SHALLOWER. THE NEXT
THREAT FOR SHOWERS SHOULD BE TOWARD MIDWEEK WITH ANOTHER PACIFIC
SYSTEM APPROACHING THE COAST.

NOTE : ALL WINDS ARE 20-FOOT WINDS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.
THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY STRONG, GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS.
