THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE
FOREST SERVICE UTAH AVALANCHE CENTER.

THE AVALANCHE WATCH FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
UTAH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY. THIS WATCH COVERS THE
MOUNTAIN AREAS FROM THE VICINITY OF SOLDIER SUMMIT SOUTHWARD. NEW
ACCUMULATION OF HEAVY SNOW THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING WILL LIKELY
CREATE DANGEROUS AVALANCHE CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND.

ANYONE VENTURING INTO THE BACKCOUNTRY IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
MOUNTAINS SHOULD AVOID TRAVEL ON OR BELOW STEEP SLOPES THROUGH
THE WEEKEND.

THIS WATCH DOES NOT INCLUDE SKI AREAS OR HIGHWAYS WHERE AVALANCHE
CONTROL IS NORMALLY DONE.
