...GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED FOR THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS...

THE GROWING SEASON FOR SENSITIVE VEGETATION HAS BEEN DECLARED OVER
FOR COUNTIES IN THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS...INCLUDING ALLEGANY COUNTY
MARYLAND...AND HAMPSHIRE...HARDY...MINERAL AND EASTERN GRANT
COUNTIES IN WEST VIRGINIA. BASED ON CLIMATOLOGY...THE AREA SHOULD
HAVE RECEIVED A FREEZE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.

AS A RESULT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL NOT BE ISSUING
FROST ADVISORIES OR FREEZE WARNINGS FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED AREA
UNTIL THE GROWING SEASON RESUMES IN THE SPRING OF 2015.
