...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM
CDT FRIDAY...

* WINDS...UP TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH EXPECTED BY
  EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. EVEN STRONGER WINDS UP AROUND 55 MPH
  ARE LIKELY NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN.

* SNOW...THE THREAT OF HEAVY BURSTS OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS...
  POSSIBLY ACCOMPANIED BY THUNDER AND LIGHTNING...EXISTS FRIDAY
  AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THIS COULD RESULT IN SLUSHY SNOW
  ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  POSSIBLE.

* MAIN IMPACT...STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS COMBINED WITH THE THREAT
  FOR BURSTS OF HEAVY SNOWFALL COULD LIMIT VISIBILITIES UNDER A
  MILE AND MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS ACROSS THE AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR STRONG WINDS AND LAKE EFFECT SNOW
MEANS THAT VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF
THE BLOWING AND FALLING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING...
ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.
