THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  ATTALA COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...
  HOLMES COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 757 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
  TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR LEXINGTON...AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

  HAZARD...TORNADO AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

  SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

  IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
           SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
           TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
           LIKELY.

* THIS DANGEROUS STORM WILL BE NEAR...
  MCMILLAN AND FRANKLIN AROUND 805 PM CDT.
  BOWLING GREEN AROUND 810 PM CDT.
  DURANT AROUND 815 PM CDT.
  POSSUMNECK AROUND 820 PM CDT.
  MCADAMS AROUND 830 PM CDT.
  KOSCIUSKO AROUND 835 PM CDT.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE SALLIS.

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME...A VEHICLE OR
OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.
