THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN CLARKE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...
  SOUTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...
  NORTHEASTERN JONES COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...

* UNTIL 1115 PM CST

* AT 1028 PM CST...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
  TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR LAUREL...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

  HAZARD...TORNADO.

  SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

  IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
           SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
           TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
           LIKELY.

* THIS DANGEROUS STORM WILL BE NEAR...
  HEIDELBERG AROUND 1040 PM CST.
  STAFFORD SPRINGS AROUND 1045 PM CST.
  GOODWATER AROUND 1050 PM CST.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE SHUBUTA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME...A VEHICLE OR
OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.
