  CHOCTAWHATCHEE RIVER AT GENEVA (SR 52) AFFECTING GENEVA COUNTY

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

ALL PERSONS WITH INTEREST ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD MONITOR THE LATEST
FORECASTS...AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT
LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT DRIVE CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. IF YOU
SEE FLOOD WATERS...REMEMBER TO TURN AROUND AND DO NOT DROWN.

...FLOOD WARNING EXTENDED UNTIL LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...THE FLOOD
WARNING CONTINUES FOR
  THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE RIVER AT GENEVA (SR 52).
* FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS
  CANCELLED.
* AT  2:00 AM SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS 19.8 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 23.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE TO
  RISE TO NEAR 28.4 FEET BY SUNDAY EVENING. THE RIVER WILL FALL
  BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY TUESDAY BEFORE MIDNIGHT.
* IMPACT...AT 27.0 FEET...FARMLANDS AND SOME FARM ROADS WILL FLOOD.
