345 AM CDT WED APR 16 2014

AN UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE IS MOVING INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS WITH
SOUTHWEST WINDS IN THE MID LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE OVER WESTERN
KANSAS. AT THE SURFACE, A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IS FOUND ACROSS
WESTERN KANSAS WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS FELT ACROSS THE AREA.
