AN UPPER LEVEL LONG WAVE TROUGH IS LOCATED ACROSS THE INTERMOUNTAIN
WEST WITH A SHORTWAVE MOVING NORTHEAST THROUGH COLORADO. MEANWHILE,
AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS POSITIONED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS WITH A
DOME OF HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES.
