...GUSTY WINDS AND BLOWING DUST POSSIBLE FROM MACKAY TO ARCO AS
WELL AS IN THE LITTLE LOST RIVER/PAHSIMEROI VALLEY...

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON BEHIND A COLD
FRONT FOR PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING THE BIG
LOST RIVER VALLEY AND THE LITTLE LOST RIVER/PAHSIMEROI VALLEY. SUSTAINED
WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS ARE EXPECTED. THIS WILL
HELP KICK UP DUST FROM PLOWED FIELDS IN THE AREA...ESPECIALLY FROM
ARCO TO MACKAY. THIS COULD IMPACT TRAVEL ALONG U-S 93 IN THOSE
AREAS THROUGH EARLY EVENING. IF YOU ENCOUNTER REDUCED VISIBILITY
DUE TO BLOWING DUST...SLOW DOWN BUT DO NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF
THE ROAD. FIND A SAFE PLACE AS FAR OUT OF TRAFFIC AS POSSIBLE AND
REMAIN THE UNTIL CONDITIONS SUBSIDE.
