INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...COPPER HARBOR...HOUGHTON...HANCOCK

...LOCALLY DENSE FOG TO AFFECT THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA THIS MORNING...

MOIST AIR FLOWING OFF LAKE SUPERIOR HAS PRODUCED FOG THAT IS
REDUCING VISIBILITIES FROM A QUARTER MILE TO ONE MILE OVER THE
KEWEENAW PENINSULA THIS MORNING. THESE LOWER VISIBILITIES WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE MORNING HOURS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE
HIGHER TERRAIN...BEFORE WARMING TEMPERATURES HELP DIMINISH THE FOG
LATE THIS MORNING.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN...ALLOW PLENTY OF BREAKING DISTANCE
FOR CARS AND OBJECTS AHEAD OF THEM...AND USE THEIR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS IF
TRAVELING THIS MORNING.
