...LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
THIS MORNING...

AN AREA OF LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS IS MOVING THROUGH THE REGION THIS
MORNING...RESULTING IN VERY LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ON GRASSY AND
ELEVATED SURFACES. WITH TEMPERATURES NEAR FREEZING ACROSS NORTHERN
PORTIONS OF THE AREA THERE COULD BE ISOLATED ICY SPOTS MAINLY ON
BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. OVERALL TRAVEL EXPECTED TO BE ONLY
MINIMALLY IMPACTED AS GROUND TEMPERATURES REMAIN ABOVE FREEZING.
HOWEVER...MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION ON ELEVATED SURFACES AS
THERE COULD BE SOME SLICK SPOTS...AND SNOW SHOWERS COULD REDUCE
VISIBILITY TO 1 TO 2 MILES AT TIMES. CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE
LATE THIS MORNING AS SNOW SHOWERS DIMINISH AND TEMPERATURES RISE
INTO THE MID AND UPPER THIRTIES ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF
EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA.
