...UNSEASONABLY COLD TONIGHT...

AN UNSEASONABLY COLD AIRMASS HAS MOVED INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND
LOUISIANA OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
AWAY FROM THE REGION THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON ALLOWING FOR STRONG
RADIATIONAL COOLING AFTER SUNSET THIS EVENING. THIS MAY LEAD TO PATCHY
FROST NORTH OF INTERSTATE 10 AND A LIGHT FREEZE NORTH OF AN
OPELOUSAS TO OAKDALE TO ANACOCO LINE. THE LAST FREEZE TO OCCUR IN
THE AREA WAS OVER A MONTH AGO AND MOST TENDER VEGETATION IS IN
FULL BLOOM OR HAS GREENED OUT. PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN TODAY
TO PREPARE FOR THIS COLD WEATHER THAT IS EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING.
