...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE AFFECTING THE AREA...

AT 421 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SEVERAL STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR TYRONE TO NEW ENTERPRISE TO NEAR
INGLESMITH...AND MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.

LOCALIZED 40 MPH WIND GUSTS AND DIME SIZE HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH
THESE STORMS.

THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  TYRONE...TIPTON AND BIRMINGHAM AROUND 430 PM EDT.
  BALD EAGLE AROUND 440 PM EDT.
  WARRIORS MARK AND SPRUCE CREEK AROUND 450 PM EDT.
  FRANKLINVILLE AROUND 500 PM EDT.

OTHER LOCATIONS IMPACTED BY THESE STORMS INCLUDE JUNIATA COLLEGE...
LAKEMONT PARK AND ISLAND WATERPARK...PEOPLES NATURAL GAS FIELD...
ALEXANDRIA...PETERSBURG...DELGROSSO`S AMUSEMENT PARK...DEFIANCE...
WOODBURY...HOPEWELL AND SAXTON.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING INTERSTATES...
 INTERSTATE 70 FROM MILE MARKERS 147 TO 167.
 THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE FROM MILE MARKERS 147 TO 174.
 INTERSTATE 99 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 18 AND 20...AND FROM MILE MARKERS
32 TO 56.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THESE STORMS MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO AND
TV STATIONS...AS WELL AS LOCAL CABLE TV OUTLETS...FOR ADDITIONAL
