...WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH TODAY ACROSS NORTHERN NEW YORK AND VERMONT...

WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED TODAY ESPECIALLY ACROSS
NORTHERN NEW YORK AND NORTHWEST VERMONT.

SOUTH WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST IN THE CHAMPLAIN THIS MORNING
BEFORE SHIFTING TO THE WEST AND GRADUALLY DIMINISHING THIS
AFTERNOON.

IN NORTHERN NEW YORK...INCLUDING THE ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY AND
ADIRONDACKS...SOUTH WINDS WILL SHIFT TO SOUTHWEST BY LATE MORNING
AND GUST TO 40 MPH THEN GRADUALLY BECOMING WEST AND DIMINISH LATE
THIS AFTERNOON.

ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN A LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT WITH GALE
FORCE WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS THIS MORNING SHIFTING TO WEST AND
DIMINISHING THIS AFTERNOON.

SHOWERS THIS MORNING WILL BE ENDING THIS AFTERNOON AND
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL AS A COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH THE REGION.
