THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* SPECIAL MARINE WARNING FOR...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM SUWANNEE RIVER TO KEATON BEACH OUT 30 NM OVER
  GULF OF MEXICO WATERS OR FROM 10 NM SOUTH OF SCANLON TO 7 NM SOUTH
  OF STEINHATCHEE...
  INCLUDING BUCKEYE REEF...

* UNTIL 330 PM EST

* AT 226 PM EST...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS DETECTED A
  THUNDERSTORM...PRODUCING STRONG WINDS 34 KNOTS OR GREATER 8 NM
  SOUTHWEST OF BUCKEYE REEF...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 KNOTS.

* THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN AWAY FROM
  SIGNIFICANT COASTAL LANDMARKS OVER THE INDICATED AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT STRONG WINDS...HIGH WAVES...DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY RAINS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY...UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS AND INCREASING WAVES. BOATERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE UNDER SAIL...SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY
UNTIL THE HIGH WINDS SUBSIDE.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE. KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.
