WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR
523 AM AST SAT OCT 25 2014

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE LOCAL ISLANDS DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. BRIEF PASSING SHOWERS MOVED ONSHORE ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE ISLANDS EARLY THIS MORNING. HOWEVER...NO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL
ACCUMULATIONS WERE OBSERVED WITH THESE PASSING SHOWERS. WINDS OVER
LAND WERE MAINLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE.

A GENERALLY FAIR AND STABLE WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO PREVAIL
ACROSS THE LOCAL ISLANDS DURING THE WEEKEND. HOWEVER...WITH A
PREVAILING SOUTHEASTERLY WIND FLOW...A SHOWER OR TWO COULD AFFECT
THE ISLANDS...ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT AND EARLY IN THE MORNING.

ACROSS THE REGIONAL WATERS...MARINERS CAN EXPECT WINDS OF 15 KNOTS
OR LESS AND SEAS OF 4 FEET OR LESS. PULSES OF SMALL NORTHEAST AND
NORTHWEST SWELLS WILL CONTINUE TO REACH THE LOCAL ATLANTIC WATERS
AND PASSAGES DURING THE WEEKEND.
