...THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS OF NORTHWEST PUERTO
RICO...

AT 426 PM AST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGIST DETECTED
AREAS OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHWEST PUERTO RICO...MOVING WEST
NORTHWEST AT 5 TO 10 KNOTS TOWARDS THE COASTAL WATERS.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY
HIGHER WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS. WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY
OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. IF CAUGHT ON THE OPEN
WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED METAL
OBJECTS.
