...THE FLOOD WARNING WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 445 PM AST FOR
FAJARDO MUNICIPALITY...

MOST OF THE HEAVY RAINS ACROSS THESE AREAS HAVE DIMINISHED...HOWEVER
PERSISTENT LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL CONTINUED IN SOME AREAS
ESPECIALLY OVER THE NORTHEAST AND EAST INTERIOR SECTIONS OF THE
ISLAND. RIVERS AND STREAMS ACROSS THESE AREAS REMAIN AT HIGH LEVELS
BUT CONTINUE TO SLOWLY RETURN TO NORMAL LEVELS. ALTHOUGH HEAVY
RAINFALL HAS ENDED AT THIS TIME...RESIDENTS AND COMMUTERS ACROSS
THESE AREAS SHOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS ESPECIALLY IN
AREAS OF STEEP TERRAIN WHERE MUD SLIDES WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE.

AGAIN...RESIDENTS AND MOTORISTS ACROSS THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT
TO PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND ALLOW TIME FOR STREAMS...CREEKS
AND RIVERS TO RETURN TO NORMAL LEVELS.
