HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOPEKA KS
834 AM CDT FRI OCT 3 2014

Water levels will approach flood stage for the following location:
Big Blue River near Blue Rapids.

For the Big Blue River near Blue Rapids...
The latest stage was...24.0 feet at 8 AM Friday.
Flood stage is...26.0 feet.
The river forecast remains near 24 feet through the afternoon hours
before falling below 24 feet this evening.
At 26.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs from Marysville to
Tuttle Creek Lake.

Stay tuned to later developments by listening to NOAA Weather Radio
and local media.

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
