HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOPEKA KS
100 AM CDT TUE JUN 10 2014

Water levels will approach flood stage for the following location:
Marais Des Cygnes River near Reading.

The latest stage was...14.7 feet at 1 AM Tuesday.
Flood stage is...19.0 feet.
The river is forecast to crest around 17.0 feet around 3 AM and fall below 13.0 feet by 11 AM.
At 19.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river flood.

Stay tuned to later developments by listening to NOAA Weather Radio
and local media.

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
