SPECIAL RIVER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH,NC
825 PM EST WED NOV 26 2014

THE RECENT WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL RESULT IN NOTICEABLE RISES ON
MAINSTEM RIVERS AND STREAMS IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA. THE NEUSE
RIVER AT SMITHFIELD IS EXPECTED TO RISE VERY CLOSE TO ITS MINOR
FLOOD STAGE ON THURSDAY. THE NEUSE RIVER AT CLAYTON SHOULD RISE
CLOSE TO ITS FLOOD STAGE...AND FISHING CREEK AT ENFIELD IS ALSO
EXPECTED TO RISE CLOSE TO ITS FLOOD STAGE.

INTERESTS ALONG MAINSTEM RIVERS AND STREAMS IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
SHOULD KEEP ABREAST OF THE LATEST WATER LEVELS. AT A MINIMUM...REMAIN
AWAY FROM WATER RUNNING HIGH AND FLOWING FAST.
