HEAVY RAIN THAT FELL TUESDAY AND AGAIN THIS MORNING HAS CAUSED SIGNIFICANT
WITHIN BANK RISES ON THE NEUSE RIVER. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE TO NEAR...
OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE...FLOOD STAGE AT SMITHFIELD THURSDAY MORNING. A FLOOD WARNING
FOR MINOR FLOODING MAY CONSEQUENTLY BE ISSUED LATER TONIGHT BASED ON FURTHER
ANALYSIS.
