NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE
400 PM CST SAT MAR 1 2014

...COLD AIR AND ICE JAMMING UNDERWAY...

.VERY COLD TEMPERATURES HAVE RETURNED TO THE AREA...AND CAUSED ICE
TO DEVELOP ON THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER...WITH RISES BEING SEEN AT
LOCATIONS ALONG THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER...ESPECIALLY AT NORTH PLATTE.
WELL BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND WILL CONTINUE
TO SUPPORT ADDITIONAL ICE FORMATION...AND HIGH RIVER LEVELS ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DUE TO ICE JAMMING. NO FLOODING IS OCCURRING AT
THIS TIME...HOWEVER CONDITIONS WILL BE MONITORED.
