...TAIYA RIVER TO REMAIN NEAR BANKFULL CONDITIONS THROUGH TONIGHT...

STEADY LIGHT RAIN BEGAN TO FALL OVER THE TAIYA RIVER BASIN SHORTLY
BEFORE MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THIS RAIN WILL LIKELY PERSIST
THROUGH FRIDAY...WITH SOME BREAKS IN THE PRECIPITATION THURSDAY
NIGHT BEFORE INCREASING AGAIN FRIDAY. AT 6 AM...THE TAIYA RIVER
WAS AT 16.3 FEET. WITH NEAR SATURATED CONDITIONS OVER THE BASIN
AND GENERALLY ONLY LIGHT RAIN EXPECTED...THE RIVER LEVELS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN UNCHANGED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
