...A VERY DRY AIR HAS MOVED INTO CENTRAL ALABAMA BEHIND A COLD
FRONT. THEREFORE...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE
ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ALABAMA THIS AFTERNOON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 4 PM CST
THIS AFTERNOON. THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WINDS...WILL BE FROM THE SOUTH AROUND 5 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WILL DROP AS LOW AS 19 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...OF A DRY AIRMASS AND WINDY CONDITIONS COMBINED WILL
  RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS. OUTDOOR BURNING IS
  NOT RECOMMENDED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR.
