...WARMEST SEPTEMBER EVER ON RECORD...

SEPTEMBER 2014 FINISHED WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 71.3 DEGREES
IN BISHOP, CALIFORNIA. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD FOR THE WARMEST
SEPTEMBER EVER OF 70.9 SET BACK IN 1951. RECORDS FOR BISHOP DATE TO
SEPTEMBER 1943.

SEPTEMBER 2014 FINISHED WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 62.3 DEGREES
AT MT CHARLESTON, NEVADA AT THE CO-OP WEATHER STATION IN KYLE CANYON
LOCATED AT 7450 FEET. THIS WAS AN IMPRESSIVE 5.1 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD FOR THE WARMEST SEPTEMBER EVER OF
60.5 DEGREES SET IN 2001. RECORDS FOR MT CHARLESTON DATE BACK TO
1980.

THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS PRELIMINARY AND IS SUBJECT TO A FINAL
REVIEW BEFORE BEING CERTIFIED BY THE NATIONAL CLIMATIC DATA CENTER.
