RECORD EVENT REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RIVERTON WY
0136 AM MDT TUE APR 15 2014

...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE SET AT RIVERTON WY...

 FRESH SNOW...CLEAR SKIES...AND LINGERING COLD AIR RETURNED VERY
COLD TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE COWBOY STATE YESTERDAY. A RECORD LOW
TEMPERATURE OF 13 DEGREES WAS SET AT RIVERTON WY YESTERDAY. THIS
BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 24 SET IN 2007. NOTE THE TEMPERATURE
RECORDS FOR THE RIVERTON SITE ONLY DATE BACK TO 1995.

THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE FOR THE COOPERATIVE OBSERVER SITE AT
RIVERTON FOR APRIL 14TH IS 6 DEGREES...WHICH WAS SET IN 1986.
