...RECORD DAILY MAXIMUM PRECIPITATION SET AT LAKE YELLOWSTONE WY...

 A COLD FRONT BROUGHT GUSTY WINDS AND SOME RAIN AND SNOW ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE STATE TODAY. A RECORD PRECIPITATION OF 0.75 INCHES
WAS SET AT LAKE YELLOWSTONE WY YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD
OF 0.48 SET IN 2011. NOTE THE PRECIPITATION RECORDS FOR THE LAKE
YELLOWSTONE SITE ONLY DATE BACK TO 1998.

THE RECORD PRECIPITATION FOR THE COOPERATIVE OBSERVER SITE AT LAKE
YELLOWSTONE FOR APRIL 18TH IS 0.49 INCHES...WHICH WAS SET IN 1925.
