 ANOTHER SLUG OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE BROUGHT SEVERAL ROUNDS OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS YESTERDAY. A RECORD RAINFALL OF 0.22
INCHES WAS SET AT LAKE YELLOWSTONE WY YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD
RECORD OF 0.01 SET IN 2010.

THE RECORD PRECIPITATION FOR THE COOPERATIVE OBSERVER SITE AT LAKE
YELLOWSTONE FOR AUGUST 14 IS 0.45 INCHES...WHICH WAS SET IN 1927.
