...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES FOR SEPTEMBER 13TH SET AT
CHANUTE...SALINA AND RUSSELL...

YESTERDAY MORNING THE TEMPERATURE AT CHANUTE FELL TO 39 DEGREES
WHICH BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 44 DEGREES SET IN 2006 FOR
SEPTEMBER 13TH.

AT RUSSELL...THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO 34 DEGREES BREAKING THE
PREVIOUS RECORD OF 36 WHICH OCCURRED IN 1974.

SALINA BOTTOMED OUT AT 35 DEGREES THIS MORNING WHICH TOOK THE SPOT
FROM A VALUE OF 37 DEGREES THAT HAPPENED IN 1902 ON THIS DATE.
