...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES SET AT CHANUTE...RUSSELL...SALINA AND
WICHITA THIS MORNING...

THIS MORNING THE TEMPERATURE AT CHANUTE FELL TO 6 DEGREES WHICH
BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 15 DEGREES SET IN 1951.

THE LOW TEMPERATURE AT SALINA THIS MORNING DROPPED DOWN TO 6
DEGREES. THIS BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD LOW FOR THE DAY OF 10
DEGREES SET IN 1903.

AT RUSSELL TODAY THIS MORNING...THE TEMPERATURE BOTTOMED OUT AT 5
DEGREES TO BREAK THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 10 DEGREES FROM 1951.

IN WICHITA...A TEMPERATURE VALUE OF 5 DEGREES WAS RECORDED TO TAKE
THE SPOT IN THE RECORD BOOKS AWAY FROM A 12 DEGREE VALUE SET IN
1903.
