THE SNOW THAT FELL YESTERDAY IN NASHVILLE TOTALED 0.2 INCH. THIS
IS THE FIRST TIME MEASURABLE SNOW HAS BEEN RECORDED ON NOVEMBER
17TH IN NASHVILLE BUT NOT THE FIRST TIME SNOW HAS FALLEN ON THIS
DATE. TRACE AMOUNTS OF SNOW FELL ON NOVEMBER 17TH IN 1886...1926
1927...AND IN 1951. SNOWFALL RECORDS IN NASHVILLE DATE BACK TO THE
WINTER OF 1884-85 WHEN THE ARMY SIGNAL CORPS BEGAN TAKING
MEASUREMENTS.
