...PETERSBURG WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER OFF THE AIR INDEFINITELY...

THE PETERSBURG ALL HAZARDS WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER...WXM-38
OPERATING AT 162.400 MHZ...IS CURRENTLY OFF THE AIR DUE TO ANTENNA
FAILURE. IT IS NOT KNOWN AT THIS TIME WHEN THE TRANSMITTER WILL BE
RETURNED TO SERVICE.

THOSE IN THE PETERSBURG LISTENING AREA MAY BE ABLE TO PICK UP
NEARBY ALL HAZARDS WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTERS...TYPICALLY WITH THE
ASSISTANCE OF AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING...


KWN-44 NEAR CAVALIER ND OPERATING AT 162.450 MHZ.
WWG-25 NEAR WEBSTER NORTH DAKOTA OPERATING AT 162.425 MHZ.
KWW-46 NEAR SHEYENNE NORTH DAKOTA OPERATING AT 162.525 MHZ.
KWN-43 NEAR LANGDON NORTH DAKOTA OPERATING AT 162.500 MHZ.
WXK-42 NEAR AMENIA NORTH DAKOTA OPERATING AT 162.475MHZ.
