JUNE RAINFALL VARIED WIDELY ACROSS NORTH TEXAS. FOR MANY LOCATIONS...
MONTHLY TOTALS EXCEEDED 8 INCHES. BUT IN SOME AREAS...JUNE TOTALS
WERE LESS THAN 3 INCHES.

FLASH FLOODING IMPACTED PARTS OF FORT WORTH ON JUNE 25. THE
FOLLOWING DAY...ANOTHER ROUND OF FLOODING OCCURRED IN NORTHERN
PORTIONS OF TARRANT COUNTY.

DFW AIRPORT MISSED THE HEAVIEST RAIN. JUST LIKE THE FIRST 5 MONTHS
OF 2014...THE JUNE PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW NORMAL. THE YEAR-TO-DATE
TOTAL...THROUGH THE END OF JUNE...WAS THE 9TH DRIEST ON RECORD.
