THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CONFIRMED A THIRD EF0 TORNADO IN
PORTAGE COUNTY OHIO.

LOCATION...PORTAGE COUNTY OHIO 2.5 MILES NW OF HIRAM
DATE...SEPTEMBER 10 2014
ESTIMATED TIME...5:54 PM EDT
MAXIMUM EF-SCALE RATING....EF0
ESTIMATED WIND SPEED...74 MPH
MAX PATH WIDTH...25-50 YARDS
PATH LENGTH...0.7 MILES
BEGINNING LAT/LON 41.335/-81.185
ENDING    LAT/LON 41.345/-81.179

SUMMARY...
THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AS AN EF0 WITH WINDS ESTIMATED AROUND 74
MPH NEAR ALLYN ROAD NORTHWEST OF HIRAM. THE TORNADO MOVED NORTHEAST
TO NEAR WINCHELL RD AND THEN LIFTED. THE TORNADO CAUSED A FEW TREES
TO UPROOT AND BROKE LARGE BRANCHES.  MINOR DAMAGE OCCURRED TO A FEW
HOUSES ON WINCHELL ROAD.  THE MAXIMUM PATH WIDTH WAS 25 TO 50 YARDS
AND THE MAXIMUM ESTIMATED WIND SPEED WAS 74 MPH.
