WITH A MEAN TEMPERATURE NEARLY 5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...NOVEMBER
2014 RANKS AS THE 9TH COOLEST ON RECORD. THROUGH NOVEMBER 30...2014
IS TIED WITH 1937 AS THE 5TH COOLEST YEAR ON RECORD.

THE COLDEST STRETCH WAS THE NOVEMBER 12-17 DURING WHICH THE MERCURY
FAILED TO REACH 50 DEGREES FOR 6 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. THIS TIES THE
RECORD FOR NOVEMBER...SET PREVIOUSLY IN 1918 AND 1972.

SOME SLEET AND SNOW FELL IN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL TEXAS ON NOVEMBER
16...INCLUDING KILLEEN...BUT NONE FELL AT WACO REGIONAL AIRPORT.

THE MONTH WAS NOT WITHOUT WARM WEATHER AS THERE WERE 12 DAYS WITH
HIGHS IN THE 70S...INCLUDING 79 DEGREES ON THE FINAL DAY OF THE
MONTH.
