MARCH WAS THE 6TH CONSECUTIVE MONTH WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES
AT WACO. THE MONTHLY MEAN TEMPERATURE WAS OVER 4 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL...RANKING AS THE 14TH COOLEST MARCH ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE
LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE 4TH COOLEST.

THERE WERE 6 FREEZES DURING MARCH...BRINGING THE SEASON TOTAL TO 69.
THIS IS 18 FREEZE DAYS BEYOND THE PREVIOUS SEASONAL RECORD.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT WACO HAS HAD 5 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS WITH
WINTRY PRECIPITATION SINCE THE WINTER OF 2001-2002.

THE YEAR-TO-DATE PRECIPITATION TOTAL...WHICH IS ONLY 21 PERCENT OF
NORMAL...IS THE DRIEST ON RECORD.
