MID AFTERNOON...

.STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE AS SURFACE LOW PRESSURE ACROSS THE
NORTHWEST GULF OF MEXICO MOVES EAST AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO
SOUTHWEST TEXAS ALLOWING THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TO REMAIN STRONG.

* TIMING...THROUGH MID AFTERNOON.

* IMPACT...BASKETBALL GOALS...TRASH CANS...AND OTHER OBJECTS MAY
  BE KNOCKED DOWN OR DAMAGED BY THE WIND. DRIVING ON EAST TO
  WEST ROADWAYS WILL BE DIFFICULT IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE
30 TO 39 MPH FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS...AND OR FREQUENT GUSTS WILL
RANGE BETWEEN 40 AND 57 MPH.

MOVE LIGHT AND MODERATE WEIGHT ITEMS...SUCH AS PATIO FURNITURE...
EMPTY TRASH CANS...AND PORTABLE BASKETBALL POSTS...INDOORS.
