...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM AKDT WEDNESDAY ALONG
COOK INLET...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM AKDT WEDNESDAY.

* LOCATION...ALONG COOK INLET.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* TIMING...SOUTHERLY WINDS ARE PUSHING AN AREA OF DENSE FOG TO THE
  NORTH ALONG COOK INLET THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. THE SOUTHERLY WINDS
  WILL BE CLEARING UP AREAS FROM THE SOUTH TO THE NORTH AND WILL
  CLEAR OUT ALL OF THE WESTERN KENAI PENINSULA EARLY WEDNESDAY
  MORNING.

* IMPACTS...VERY LOW VISIBILITIES CAN CAUSE VERY DIFFICULT
  DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
