AT 145 PM...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SCATTERED SHOWERS WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY CONTINUING
IN THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND ADJACENT MOUNTAINS. SHOWERS ARE
LOCATED NEAR THE TOWNS OF NICOLAUS...WILLOWS...CHICO...AND
REDDING.

A NWS WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED AT THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHWEST OF
CHICO MOVING TO THE NORTH TOWARDS PAYNES CREEK. JUST A REMINDER
ALL THUNDERSTORMS ARE DANGEROUS WITH POSSIBLE LIGHTNING...HAIL...GUSTY
WINDS...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN. RAIN IS RARE IN THE VALLEY DURING
THE MONTH OF JULY.
