AREAS OF FOG HAVE FORMED IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO
VALLEYS THIS MORNING AS WELL AS THE NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY.
THIS FOG IS MOST PREDOMINANT ALONG THE VALLEY BOTTOM AND EASTWARD
INTO THE LOWER SIERRA FOOTHILLS. AT 5 AM THIS MORNING BEALE AIR
FORCE BASE REPORTED VISIBILITY BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE AND OROVILLE
REPORTED ONE QUARTER MILE VISIBILITY. PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 99 AS WELL
AS U.S. 50 AND INTERSTATE 80 ARE LIKELY TO BE IMPACTED IN THIS AREA.
IF DRIVING INTO AREAS OF DENSER FOG...SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA
CAUTION.
