SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE NORTHEAST FROM SOUTHEAST PEND
OREILLE COUNTY INTO THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF IDAHO THROUGH 830
PM. SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS. MOTORISTS TRAVELING HIGHWAY
2 FROM DIAMOND LAKE TO BONNERS FERRY AND HIGHWAY 95 FROM SANDPOINT
TO BONNERS FERRY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN
VISIBILITY. GUSTY WINDS CAN STRIP LEAVES OFF TREES ONTO WET
ROADWAYS. THIS CAN RESULT IN SLIPPERY ROADS. AREAS AFFECT INCLUDE
NEWPORT WA, PRIEST RIVER, SANDPOINT AND BONNERS FERRY IN IDAHO.
