.NOW...AT 1248 AM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
A COUPLE OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS
SOUTHERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY. ONE CELL WAS LOCATED JUST EAST OF
MANHATTAN BEACH AND IT WAS MOVING WEST NORTHWEST AT 5 MPH. IT WILL
AFFECT THE COAST FROM MANHATTAN BEACH TO MARINA DEL REY INCLUDING
LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT THROUGH 130 AM PDT. ANOTHER CELL
WAS LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERN COAST OF CATALINA ISLAND. OTHER
SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS ORANGE COUNTY...AND
WESTERN SAN BERNADINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES WILL LIKELY DRIFT
INTO SOUTHERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY THROUGH 3 AM PDT. ANY THUNDERSTORM
MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN...DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND
SMALL HAIL
